Fall in Tokyo

We spent some time Saturday morning walking through Shibuya crossing, one of the busiest districts in Tokyo. it's about five minutes by car or two subway stops away from our home in Yoyogi-Uehara. Our friend Ryan Young took these shots of our family. We had fun strolling through the streets as the city began to wake up.

Go Tell It On the Mountain

Sarah recently started preschool at a great early learning center in our neighborhood. This is a video from her Christmas program. She was a cow. (Mary's part was already taken. :-)

Bike Riding in Yoyogi Park

Near our home in Yoyogi Uehara, is one of the largest central parks in all Tokyo. When you walk in , you forget you're in a city. With our bikes and a bike trailer for Kate and Sarah, we have spent a few Saturday afternoons/ evenings riding through the trails in Yoyogi. Samuel rides on Shawn's back. 

First Day of School

Marie, Jacob and Kate attend the American School in Japan here in Tokyo.  They have adjusted well to the 40 minute bus ride. Here are some shots of their first day of school as we said goodbye to them at their bus stop.
